The European School, Luxembourg was the very first of the European Schools to be established. It was established on the initiative of high officials of the European Coal and Steel Community along with the government and institutions of Luxembourg. I can remember as a child of six years old of hearing about this school from an elderly man who had himself just graduated from college in that very country. I recall feeling intrigued and interested by the prospect of such an educational opportunity for my son.

Fortunately, for my lil ones, the educational opportunities in Europe are available to all within reach, regardless of their age or background. I have met many European kids who have made lifelong friends in this European school in lucemeche en gauche. One of these kids is Michael who is from a small town in southern France.

Michael lives near the coast with his family. Because of his work in a food truck he is able to get to see and interact with several other cultures during his free moments in European school. He relates well to other European children because of his fluency in both French and English. I have also observed that he enjoys socializing with other children of his age and in this case, other European school students. This has enabled him to open up friendships with boys who are in the similar situation as him.

Another boy from a different part of France has also benefited from the socialization provided by his immersion in European schools. This boy’s name is Florian and like Michael, he too enjoys friendships with other pupils from different countries. He speaks English, but he is also learning French. He fell in love with the girl of his dreams in European school but was denied admission at her university. He felt like an outcast but like most of us, he seeks acceptance. Now, at the age of 12, he has become a confident young man who is on his way to college.

The life expectancy of students in a European school is higher than their domestic counterparts. The average life span is between twelve and fifteen years. Life span may be longer for some students depending on their health and other circumstances. Most healthy students attain a university degree and find employment right away. But for others, it takes time before they find that job that gives them a sense of accomplishment and potential for a bright and successful life ahead.

School is not the only thing that students learn in a European school. They also learn values such as dedication to country, respect, teamwork and fair play. In european school luxembourg these values are imbibed into every student. These values are essential in one’s upbringing and from that point on, they live with them throughout their lives. When you are a child growing up in a European home, your home is your school and you grow up to become a person who respects his elders and works hard for the same as an adult.

Another important aspect of life that the students experience in a European school sports. Sports provide a fun and exciting outlet for social interaction between classmates. Schools are built with excellent facilities that ensure a fun and safe environment for games to be played. The sports programs that are offered to cater to all interests and skill levels. For the more adventurous students, tennis and badminton courts are available. For less skilled players, tennis and volleyball courts are available.

In a European school, you become part of a community that looks after you as a unique individual. You can easily search for other students who share the same interests as you do. You also meet a host of friends who will help you through the rough patches in your life. School counselors are always there to guide you during any difficulty. In the end, you are able to experience a well-rounded European school experience.
